The summer season in aviation is fast approaching, and with it come new developments at Lublin Airport. Maastricht in the Netherlands and Trapani in Sicily are joining the regular flight network. A few months later, we will launch flights to Rijeka in the Balkans. When will the new connections start? Let’s check.

Flights to Maastricht from Lublin – when will they start?

The new connection from Lublin to the Netherlands is enjoying unquestionable interest – even though there are still two months to go before its inauguration, inquiries about it are constantly coming in. This is hardly surprising, as this particular connection offers a wealth of opportunities. After flights to Eindhoven and Brussels were discontinued, many residents of our region requested that connections with the Benelux countries be restored. Wizzair has responded to these expectations, and from March 30th 2026, it will once again be possible to travel to the south of the Netherlands.

This charming city combines both professional and tourist opportunities. From Maastricht, it is very easy to reach neighboring countries – passengers are only a few dozen minutes away from Germany and Belgium, and Brussels can be reached in less than an hour and a half. Flights from Lublin Airport to Maastricht will operate every Monday and Friday.

From Lublin to Sicily – how much do tickets cost?

Another new feature at Lublin Airport will be flights to Sicily. The connection to Trapani in southern Italy is a response to the ever-growing interest in destinations in southern European countries. It is also an excellent opportunity for tourists to explore the island, which is always extremely sunny, offers many beautiful beaches and a variety of food.

It is not without reason that Italy is considered a frequent destination for city breaks. Flights from Lublin Airport to Trapani Airport in 2026 will start on March 31 and will last until October 24. Prices start at PLN 180.

Flights from Lublin to Rijeka – when is the first flight?

Rijeka will also join the network of connections from June 9. This is great news for fans of the Adriatic Sea, local cevapcici with ajvar and guaranteed good weather. This route offers not only good connections with the rest of the country but also with neighboring countries – Slovenia and Italy. Cruises will run until the end of October every Tuesday and Saturday.
