Investment

The project was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the State Budget under the Regional Operational Program for Lubelskie Voivodeship for 2007-2013.

The construction of the airport and the purchase of the necessary airport equipment and operating software were carried out as part of the project entitled “Expansion of the Regional Airport: Lublin Airport S.A. (Świdnik)” under the Regional Operational Program for Lubelskie Province, Priority Axis V Transport, Measure 5.5 Air Transport. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the State Budget under the Regional Operational Program of the Lubelskie Province for 2007-2013. The aim of the project is to improve the transport infrastructure system in the Lubelskie Province. Eligible costs covered by the project include, among others:

• construction of a passenger terminal building,
• construction of an airport fire station building,
• construction of a runway with a stand for aircraft in distress and a taxiway,
• construction of navigation and floodlighting,
• construction of a utility network and drainage system,
• construction of navigation and floodlighting,
• construction of fire, patrol, and technical roads,
• construction of fuel base infrastructure,
• zakup urządzeń niezbędnych do funkcjonowania portu lotniczego (m.in. maszyn do odladzania samolotów, wozów ratowniczo-gaśniczych, oczyszczarek lotniskowych, pługu wirnikowego samojezdnego, zamiatarek lotniskowych, posypywarko-polewaczki lotniskowej, urządzenia do pomiaru szorstkości nawierzchni lotniskowych, agregatu pneumatycznego ASU, naziemnych generatorów lotniczych GPU, schodów ciągnionych, pomostu serwisowego, taśmociągów, holowników lotniskowych, wozu zaopatrzenia w wodę, wozu obsługi sanitarnej, wozu transportu medycznego „ambulift”, dyszli holowniczych),
• zakup i uruchomienie lotniskowego oprogramowania operacyjnego (m.in. systemów DCS, FIDS i FIS, systemu AWOS, systemu TETRA, systemu ICE ALERT).
