Moving around the airport

All persons (pedestrians and drivers) moving independently without PLL supervision in the above-mentioned zone are required to have a valid permit to move within the operational zone of Lublin Airport and an appropriate pass.

The Lublin Airport operator issues the following types of movement permits:

PRN permit – authorising movement throughout the entire PLL operational area, excluding the manoeuvring area;

PML permit – authorising movement throughout the entire airport operating area, including the manoeuvring area;

PBC permit – authorisation to move on foot within the scope of one’s duties only on designated pedestrian routes.

Permits to move within the operational zone of Lublin Airport are issued after the following conditions have been met:

• acquiring the required qualifications by completing theoretical and practical training appropriate to the application submitted;
• confirmation of the required qualifications based on a positive result in an examination testing knowledge of airport traffic rules.

How to get a permission

The application form for obtaining a Permit shall be completed by the interested person/entity, i.e. the institution whose activities include performing operations in the airport operational area. The relevant application form can be obtained by contacting the PLL Operational Training Team directly (tel. 81 45 81 366) or by e-mail at [email protected]. A properly completed application, signed by the head of the unit or the candidate’s supervisor, should be delivered in person to the OTT or sent to the above e-mail address no later than 14 days before the planned start of the training. After considering the application, ZSO organises the training in consultation with the Lublin Airport Duty Officers, setting the date depending on the number of accepted applications, types of permits, the capacity of the training base and the availability of training staff (PLL trainers/instructors). The ZSO then notifies the interested parties of the training date by e-mail.

There is a fee for completing the training (theory and practice), taking the exam and issuing the Permit for persons outside the Lublin Airport staff. The price list for training is set and made available by the Commercial Department of Lublin Airport.
