Airport regulations

The Lublin Airport Regulations have been established and implemented by the airport operator in order to ensure safety, peace and public order on its premises, as well as to protect civil aviation.

All persons present on the airport premises are required to comply with these regulations.

List of prohibited behaviours at Lublin Airport:

  1. Leaving luggage or other items unattended, which may disrupt the functioning of the airport;
  2. Bringing weapons, dangerous materials or other items that may pose a threat to the safety of persons, aircraft or airport infrastructure onto the airport premises without appropriate authorisation;
  3. Littering and polluting the airport grounds;
  4. Consuming alcohol or smoking tobacco outside designated areas, and bringing in and using intoxicants and psychotropic substances;
  5. Bringing animals into the passenger terminal, with the exception of service dogs and dogs assisting persons with disabilities, except in cases where animals are being checked in for air transport;
  6. Conducting without the consent of the airport manager:
    • Fundraising,
    • Economic activity, including advertising, solicitation or other gainful activity,
    • Artistic, political, or other activities that disrupt order at the airport;
  1. Photographing or filming mining reconnaissance activities and rescue operations, passenger and baggage security checkpoints, and passport and document control points without a permit issued by the airport operator in consultation with the locally competent commander of the Border Guard, commander of the Police or head of the Customs Office – depending on which activities, stations or control points are to be photographed or filmed;
  2. Interfering with, preventing or hindering airport staff or air carriers from performing their official duties;
  3. Making unauthorised changes to airport equipment, devices or systems, and hindering or preventing the use of devices or premises intended for public use located on the airport premises;
  4. Parking vehicles in places not designated for this purpose;
  5. Violations of the conditions for vehicle and pedestrian traffic within the airport operating area as specified by the airport operator;
  6. Being in the restricted area of the airport and in the operational area of the airport without authorisation or otherwise violating the conditions of access to restricted areas of the airport specified by the airport operator;
  7. Entering the restricted area or operational area of the airport or using a vehicle in these areas without a valid vehicle pass or appropriate authorisation, or otherwise violating the conditions of vehicle access to these areas;
  8. Remaining overnight without justification related to waiting for the arrival or departure of an aircraft;
  9. Evading security or access controls, and crossing or forcing doors, fences, security barriers, and unjustified use of the security button that opens doors.

Obligations of persons present at the airport:

  1. To immediately inform Border Guard officers, the Police or airport security services in the event of observing unattended luggage or other items, as well as in the event of identifying any other potential danger to persons, aircraft and facilities or equipment;
  2. Follow the instructions of Border Guard, Police and airport security officers, as well as airport staff, air traffic control and air carriers, related to ensuring the safety of persons, aircraft and airport facilities or equipment;
  3. Obey the instructions of rescue services and Border Guard, Police and airport security officers during rescue, evacuation, security and preventive measures in the field of safety.
