ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT FOR THE LUBLIN AIRPORT S.A. WEBSITE

Port Lotniczy Lublin SA undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Act of April 4, 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The accessibility statement applies to the website located at www.airport.lublin.pl.

Website publication date: December 2012.

Date of last major update: May 2024.

Amenities, restrictions and other information

The website is partially compliant with the Act on Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Entities due to non-compliance or inclusions.

The Lublin Airport SA website includes, among other things:

  • adequate contrast,
  • appropriate page title structure,
  • labels next to forms,
  • search module,
  • highlighted contrast of links,
  • ability to use the site regardless of screen orientation.

In addition, we do not use automatically triggered sounds, elements that flash quickly or change brightness rapidly, or mechanisms that automatically refresh the page or redirect to another address. Standard keyboard shortcuts can be used on the website.

Despite our best efforts, some elements of the website may not be digitally accessible, including:

  • not all links have a correctly specified target,
  • not all images/graphics have alternative descriptions,
  • not all tables have correctly marked headers,
  • not all downloadable files are available digitally or have alternative versions,
  • there are errors in HTML semantics.

A comprehensive modernization of the website is planned by the end of 2025. Its aim will be, among other things, to completely eliminate identified barriers to digital accessibility.

This statement was made on: July 23, 2025.

The declaration was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by a public entity, using a checklist for self-assessment of website digital accessibility published by the Information Society Department of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and using the WAVE tool.

ARCHITECTURAL ACCESSIBILITY

Airport Lublin
ul. Króla Jana III Sobieskiego 1
21-040 Świdnik

Lublin Airport has infrastructure facilities designed for people with disabilities and people with reduced mobility.

  • You can reach the facility by car (paid parking is available in front of the building; there are marked parking spaces for vehicles of persons with disabilities, marked in blue, near the terminal entrances) or by public transport.
  • The width of the main entrances to the terminal building and corridors allows wheelchair users to move around freely.
  • Special warning plates have been installed near pedestrian crossings and railway platforms.
  • With wheelchair users in mind, we have adapted the airport information desk accordingly.
  • There are points located at the entrances to the terminal and in the vicinity of the parking lots where assistance can be requested.
  • The toilets are adapted to the needs of people with disabilities – both those in the public area and those in the restricted area have a staff call system.
  • Persons with disabilities and reduced mobility are served at security checkpoints out of turn, with an employee providing assistance. These persons are subject to the same control procedures as other passengers departing from Lublin Airport, but the manner in which the controls are carried out is adapted to the special requirements related to the type of disability.
  • There are specially adapted and marked seats for people with disabilities and reduced mobility in many places throughout the terminal.
  • Lublin Airport is equipped with a specialized vehicle used to transport passengers directly from the terminal building to the aircraft, eliminating the need to use stairs at any stage of the journey to the aircraft.
  • You can enter the building and all its rooms with an assistance dog or guide dog.

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION ACCESSIBILITY

  • Lublin Airport provides assistance services dedicated to persons with disabilities. If you need assistance at the airport due to limited mobility, please notify the carrier when making your reservation/purchasing your ticket, at least 48 hours before your scheduled departure. This will significantly reduce your waiting time for airport service. Assistance at Lublin Airport is also available to passengers without prior reservation. You can request it directly at the airport, even during check-in.
  • Persons with disabilities and persons with reduced mobility can use assistance at the airport free of charge.
  • Sign language interpretation services are not yet available at Lublin Airport.
  • We provide services to people with special needs using a contact form, email, and fax.
