and the state budget under the Lubelskie Voivodeship
Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013.  
 

The development of the airport and the purchase of the equipment and airport operating software have been completed as part of the project: "Expansion of the Regional Airport: Port Lotniczy Lublin S.A. (Świdnik)" under the Lubelskie Voivodeship Regional Operational Programme, Priority Axis V - Transport, Measure 5.5. - Air Transport. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget under the Lubelskie Voivodeship Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013.
The project objective is the improvement of the system of transport infrastructure in the Lublin region. Eligible costs covered by the project include:

  • construction of the passenger terminal,

  • construction of the Airport Firefighting Service building,

  • construction of the runway, threatened aircraft area and a taxiway,

  • construction of the navigation lighting and floodlighting systems,

  • construction of water, gas and power supply systems, including drainage,

  • construction of the navigation and floodlighting systems,

  • construction of fire, patrol and technical roads,

  • construction of fuels base infrastructure,

  • purchase of equipment for the airport regular operation (including aircraft deicing equipment, rescue and fire fighting appliances, cleaners, snow plough and snow blowers, sweepers, sand and salt spreader, devices for measuring runway surface roughness, pneumatic-driven energy generator ASU, airport ground power generators GPU, towed stairs, maintenance bridge, conveyors, airport tugs, water supply vehicle, sanitary handling vehicles, "ambulift" transport vehicle, heavy duty tow bars),

  • purchase and start-up of the airport operating software (for example, DCS, FIDS and FIS, AWOS, TETRA, ICE ALERT).
