Persons infringing the customs or foreign currency regulations will be liable to criminal and fiscal sanctions
Passengers entering or leaving European Union territory are obliged to declare to customs authorities the possession of cash in amounts of 10,000 Euros or more (or their equivalent in other currencies or easily transferable assets, e.g. shares, bonds, traveller’s cheques, etc.).
After Poland’s accession to the European Union, Poland was included in the customs union, which means that goods brought to Poland from EU member states are duty-free.
If the imported goods do not exceed duty-free limits, the passengers leave through "NOTHING TO DECLARE"
Otherwise, they need to declare the goods to the customs officer and leave through the "GOODS TO DECLARE" exit marked in red.
